Liina Kuittinen(Helsinki, Finland) is an artist mainly focused in the field of performance art.
She is currently doing the residency of Academy of Fine Arts in Helsinki, in Berlin. She often uses different themes, topics and materials to excuse to make a performance. The true subject in her work is art itself as potentially meaningful practice and performance as media. Every piece she prepares has its own law, then she discovers later whether she would obey to it or not. Performance is a way to experience intensities for the artist that they are hard to reach within daily life thus it is also a method of personal change and movement.
Bjørk Grue Lidin is a performance artist based in London. Her practices explore themes surrounding gender and sexuality in relation to hysteria, destruction, intensity, violence, transitions and desubjectification. She is inspired by performers, activists and thinkers within porn and feminist communities. Bjørk is the co-editor-in-chief of the feminist periodical HYSTERIA produced collectively by a radical feminist organisation working globally. www.hystericalfeminisms.com
