Im Rahmen der Ausstellung TECHNO BODIES von Ivonne Thein findet eine offene Diskussions-

runde zum Thema „Körper und Technologie“ mit Peggy Schoenegge, Pamela C. Scorzin und Ivon-

ne Thein statt. Die Besucher sind zu einem offenen Dialog eingeladen sich mit der Künstlerin und

den beiden eingeladenen Kunsthistorikerinnen durch die Ausstellung zu bewegen.

As part of Ivonne Thein's TECHNO BODIES exhibition, there will be an open discussion on the

subject of "Body and Technology" with Peggy Schoenegge, Pamela C. Scorzin and Ivonne Thein.

Visitors are invited to an open dialogue to move through the exhibition with the artist and the two

invited art historians.

PEGGY SCHOENEGGE

Peggy Schoenegge ist freie Kuratorin, Autorin und Projektleiterin bei peer to space sowie Vorsit-

zende des Medienkunstvereins in Berlin. Sie hat einen B.A. und M.A. in Kunstgeschichte an der

Humboldt-Universität zu Berlin und der Technischen Universität Berlin und verbrachte ein Jahr an

der Ritsumeikan University in Kyoto (JP). Ihre Arbeit beschäftigt sich mit den Bedingungen und

Herausforderungen der Digitalisierung und deren Auswirkungen auf unseren Alltag, unsere Gesell-

schaft und Kultur. Sie befasst sich insbesondere mit Gender, Performance und künstlicher Intelli-

genz, indem sie digitale Kunst, Internetkunst und Kunst mit neuen Medien wie VR oder AR in rea-

len und virtuellen Ausstellungsräumen kuratiert. Sie hält Vorträge und nimmt international an Podi-

umsdiskussionen auf Konferenzen und Veranstaltungen wie der VRHAM! Virtual Reality & Arts

Festival, WISE Conference oder für das Goethe-Institut. Aktuell lehrt sie an der Hochschule Darm-

stadt in Expanded Reality.

Peggy Schoenegge is an independent curator, writer and project manager at peer to space as well

as chairwoman of the media art association in Berlin. She holds a B.A. and M.A. in Art History by

Humboldt-University Berlin and Technical University Berlin and spent a year at Ritsumeikan Uni-

versity in Kyoto (JP). Her work deals with the conditions and challenges of digitalization and its ef-

fects on our everyday life, society and culture. Specifically, she addresses gender, performance,

and artificial intelligence by curating digital art, internet art and art with new media such as VR or

AR in both real and virtual exhibition spaces. She gives lectures and participates in panel discus-

sions internationally at conferences and events such as the VRHAM! Virtual Reality & Arts Festi-

val, WISE Conference or for the Goethe-Institute. Currently she teaches at the University of Ap-

plied Sciences Darmstadt in expanded reality.

PAMELA C. SCORZIN

Auf Pam Scorzins Visitenkarte steht „Theoretiker/ Reisender/ Transhumanist“. Geboren in der pal-

ladianischen Stadt Vicenza (Italien), Studium der europäischen Kunstgeschichte, Philosophie, Ge-

schichte und Anglistik/Amerikanistik; Magistra Artium 1992 und Ph.D. 1994 an der Universität Hei-

delberg. Nach Assistenz 2001 Habilitation am Fachbereich Architektur der TU Darmstadt. An-

schließend verschiedene Lehraufträge und Professuren an den Universitäten Siegen und Frankfurt

am Main sowie an der ABK Stuttgart. Parallel dazu freiberufliche Tätigkeit als Kunstkritiker. Mit-

glied der AICA seit 2006. Seit 2008 Professorin für Kunstwissenschaft am Departement Design,

seit 2020 Prodekanin. Zahlreiche Publikationen (deutsch, englisch, französisch und polnisch) zur

Kunst- und Kulturgeschichte vom 17. bis 21. Jahrhundert. Lebt, arbeitet und forscht in Dortmund,

Mailand und Los Angeles und ist im Internet unter dem Pseudonym „Levania Lehr“ unterwegs.

Pam Scorzin's business card reads "Theorist/ Traveler/ Transhumanist." Born in the Palladian city

of Vicenza (Italy), studied European art history, philosophy, history, and English/American studies;

Magistra Artium in 1992 and Ph.D. in 1994 at the University of Heidelberg. After assisting in 2001,

habilitation at the Department of Architecture at the TU Darmstadt. Subsequently, various lecture-

ships and professorships at the Universities of Siegen and Frankfurt am Main as well as at the

ABK Stuttgart. At the same time, freelance work as an art critic. Member of the AICA since 2006.

Since 2008 Professor of Art Studies at the Department of Design, since 2020 Vice-Dean. Numer-

ous publications (German, English, French, and Polish) on the history of art and culture from the

17th to the 21st century. Lives, works, and researches in Dortmund, Milan, and Los Angeles, and

is on the Internet under the pseudonym 'Levania Lehr’.
